FormulaShare Enterprise / Unlimited Only
Enterprise and Unlimited versions of FormulaShare include the option to share to a user's default Account or Opportunity team (as well as sharing to default teams which include the user).
Default teams are typically configured by users themselves, and are shown on the related list on the user record:
Rules should be configured to share based on a field which identifies a user:
The level of sharing is controlled with the options below:
Users' Default Account Teams: Access for Members
Shares to members of the default team of the identified user. Options are Private (no access granted), Read Only and Read/Write. Options are also provided to match one of the access levels defined on the default team member record for the team member. If sharing to the default Account team in the screenshot above for example, the user Ada Atkins will receive Read Only access, whereas Becky Brown will be granted Read/Write.
Default Account Teams which include these users: Access for Owners
Shares to users who have teams set up which include the specified user. Options are Private, Read Only and Read/Write.
Default Account Teams which include these users: Access for Owners
Shares to the other team members of users who have teams set up which include the specified user. Options are Private, Read Only and Read/Write, as well as options to match access levels defined on the default team member record.
If either or both default team options aren't shown in FormulaShare, this could be because relevant team options aren't enabled. Check Salesforce articles for Account Teams and Opportunity Teams for information on how to enable these features.
