Rollback to an older version
Whilst moving back to an older version of FormulaShare is unlikely to be necessary, the rollback plan below allows for downgrading if it's ever requred:
- Make sure you've backed up all records in FormulaShare custom metadata types before the downgrade. Check Accessing and Deploying Metadata for a full list of these custom metadata types. If you would like to retain log records, back these up from the FormulaShare Logs Objects.
- Delete all records in FormulaShare custom metadtata types by deploying a destructive change or just manually deleting the records.
- Uninstall the version of FormulaShare currently installed in your org.
- Install the older version using the appropriate URL (email formulashare@cloudsundial.com to the request the URL if required)
- Redeploy all custom metadata records to reinstate your rules and configuration.
- Assign the FormulaShare Admin permission set to appropriate users.
- Open the FormulaShare app in the org, and use the button on the FormulaShare Rules page to schedule the full batch.
- If using Targeted Calculation Jobs, use the Manage Batch option from this menu in FormulaShare Setup.
After downgrading, objects with log records will not contain any data.
